Powerline Adapter Problems

Go to solution Solved by BuntzenB,

So I picked up some Rosewill 200Mbps powerline adapters and theyve been having some problems, Ill be watching a video or something, then my whole internet will just drop. Nothing on wireless through my phone, and when I switch back to wireless on my desktop, everythings just fine. (I've been on wireless before getting the adapter) What could be causing my router to crash or something while I use the adapter.

The adapters aren't on the same circuit, but they are on the same breaker.

My router is two stories away and the router is a linksys WRT54G2

Also it will only cut out while Im streaming a video or something, but not while in a gaming session (2hr+)

Any possible reason for this, and how do i fix it?

Try to make the connection secured or encrypted or whatever (on mine its a little black button on the bottom of the devices.) This will make sure they are optimized on the same "channel" so to speak
