i'm doing the review for the final exam the teacher gave me, and one of the questions is "how does the supreme court feel about hate crimes?" i'm thinking that they give heftier sentences to crimes based on hate. is that right?

It is. Except when its America hating on the middle east

Jesus don't get political on a forum with children. We all need to to share our opinion and let them be herd although, time and place is crucial. Talking politics with children is pointless.

the supreme court does not impose sentencing or penalties, they rule on areas

of grave in difference or where there is a decision needed to base all further laws
