BLU Win HD thoughts?

Does anyone own BLU Win HD smartphone?

I am trying to buy a Windows smartphone for my mom to replace her two year old Nokia Lumia 710.

I came across this unlocked Windows smartphone that looks pretty cool at its affordable price especially it looks like one of HTC smartphone.

We are on T-Mobile, so this unlocked smartphone should support T-Mobile.

 

I am curious how good is its processor and GPU compare to Nokia Lumia 710 processor and GPU.

All my mom would be doing is calling, taking pictures/recording and play games.

I was looking at the Windows Phone BLU HD but I opted to go with the MotoG instead. The BLU HD is an amazing Value it comes with a Qualcom Snapdragon 200 1.2Ghz Quad core and Adreno 302 GPU which is more than enough to make Windows Phone fly. Moto G is a better value that cost less and have better specs but it does not have expandable memory and has a slightly smaller screen than the BLU HD and of course does not run on Windows Phone OS.

Well, I decide to drop it and went after BLU Life Pure. The one that has 13 MP camera for $244 on Amazon Prime.

Expensive but great for my mom who loves taking pics.

The Life Pure might not work on T-Mobile that well, since it doesn't support the 1700/2100 "AWS" band. If your mom is in the refarmed markets where they are 1900Mhz then she will be fine, but it can be limited depending on you area.

I mean all she need is a SIM card in her phone, so she can start calling people.

Ya the Camera on the Moto G is not all that great. My Lumia 520 Windows Phone that can be had for well under $100 had a much better camera then again it was better quality optics than the iphone 6. If your mom likes Windows Phone OS and taking pictures than get her a Nokia Lumia as they have the absolute best Optics in the Smart Phone world. Yes better than iphone.

If she doesn't use data then she will be fine, since calls and texts are sent over 2G and that phone fully supports T-Mobiles 2G bands.

I like the BLU HD cause it's a turn key phone with great specs and value and it looks the tits.
