This build is SLI limited unless you buy a Z97 board, no OC with the Xeon but for 1 monitor this rig will destroy every game in 1080p

1385$ is lower than 1200 euro as well

Hello guys,

my brother is going to buy a new PC and he would really appreciate some help on it.

The PC is mainly going to be used for gaming and he is fine with 1080p 60 fps gaming. Currently he only plays Minecraft due to his really weak PC but he is planning to try out the "newer" ones like Outlast, CS:GO, GTA V.

He is planning to upgrade because his current PC is super old and is running on an AMD single core CPU with onboard graphics.

Budget: 1200 €

Note: He already has a 60 hz monitor with 1920x1080 max. resolution (he doesn't need another). He also has keyboard+mouse and an Operating System.

CPU: He prefers an Intel CPU which he doesn't plan to overclock (atleast i5)

GPU: We settled down on a GTX 970 from either Gigabyte or MSI

Storage: SSD for the OS+1TB HDD

PSU: This is where we are lost since a decent PSU is crucial and we also don't wanna go overboard with it.

CPU Cooler: Liquid or air cooling, it doesn't matter which.

Optical Drive: We plan on using a DVD writer.

Thank you.

EDIT: Sorry, we're from Germany.

EDIT2: Changed the description.

I have 2 builds.

This one has a sli an i5. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/pikkie7/saved/RvHnTW

This one has a song GPU and an i7. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/pikkie7/saved/mrzH99

It's in USD. But 1200€ is about $1450

I like the build, never considered a Xeon but is there any other case that you would recommend? My local manufacturer doesn't have any be quiet! cases so I'm looking for an alternative. Following manufacturers are available: http://imgur.com/rHfkyv0 from atelco.de

EDIT: Considering the Corsair Carbide 300R http://www.ncix.com/detail/corsair-carbide-series-300r-black-16-66063-1360.htm
