Best Small Firearm

I am looking for a small gun for my ankle holster. I prefer 9mm although .40 is exaptable. Any ideas?

They just released the G42 which is the "Smallest pistol ever made" .380 auto is a good round

Then you want a G26 Gen 4. Is your only option an ankle holster? It really isnt ideal, Appendix is probably the best in my opinion, or the 4 and 8 o' clock IWB

I have a tactial belt holster (Sig P226) and my whole torso is covered by a tactical vest. So no torso or hips. Other than that any single or double locking holster or non locking if concealed.

I wouldn't carry your primary firearm in an ankle holster unless you absolutely have to.

 

With that said, if it is a backup a .380 should be more than enough.

 

If it is your primary carry I would strongly consider you look into other options.

With that I would only even consider the 320 for ankle carry.

I don't know the smaller handguns very well as they have never interested me.

I have read good reviews of the Kel Tec PF-9 for concealed carry.

I forgot about that one, good suggestion. I would also take that one into consideration
