- 2.0 desktop or bookshelf speakers. 

- around the $50 mark AUD (around 40-45 USD)

- suitable for soho use and casual listening

 

Looking at:

- Microlab B70

- Logitech Z150

- Creative Inspire T10

- Microlab FC10

we have Logitech Z150 at my school... not a fan so dont go those. out of the ones you posted id go with the microlab B70. they'll give you the best frequency response and will probably be the best sounding

thanks for the feedback. I was wondering how much better than Creative Inspire T10's are than the Logitechs Z150 (as they were listed by price)
