Video Output

Go to solution Solved by lani100,

Hi, I have an old desktop PC, it is currently running a Geforce 510 1GB

Which is basically crap for simple games even. Runs Trine 2 at Medium, no AA :-P

I have a Geforce 8800 GTX lying around, however, this Desktop is a Media PC, and I need to hook it up to my TV.

The 510 has HDMI+Sound but the 8800 GTX being an older card has DVI and S-Video only.

Is there any way I can get the 8800 GTX to render games, but the 510 to output the video?

(assuming I can run 2 cards on that crap motherboard :D )

It's a HP Desktop PC, 6 years old.

Nope that isn't possible but you can convert dvi to hdmi and transfer the sound with a optical or 3,5mm cable to your tv.
