sounds about right.

my ethernet is soooooooooooooooooo slow, can someine help?

its 100ft of cat5e cable.

its slower than my laptops wifi, it took 2 days to download RIFT!

i have comcast economy plus

i only get up to 750 mb/s max

 

750 mb/s? thats pretty great.....

Correct me if I'm wrong, doesn't Cat5e already support speeds up to 1000Megs?

Yeah cat6 supports 10gb/s and and cat6A supports 10gb/s at 500 MHz as opposed to just 250. (This enables longer wires) Also you can have a much longer cat6 if you just want 1gb/s than a cat5

and if you are wondering no i did not just google differences between cat5e and cat6 i just googled for the chart because i remembered something like this existed.

agreed hoping to replace old att router.... can't stand 2mb/s download....

I don't really have a high internet speed where I live. It's $54.99 to get 50 Mbps and most of the time it's never even at 50 Mbps. I have no need for a gigabit router :P

I have 75 down but I also have an in home NAS so I would really benefit from some gigabit.
