Hey, so i need help figuring out if there is any bottleneck for using two x8 slots for SLI. Should i get a motherboard with two x16 or is it worth the extra money? Thank you.

No, PCIe 3.0 x8/x8 or x4/x4 will not cause any performance loss in gaming.

The x16 is thereorically faster than the x8, but you shouldn't suffer any performances losses on x8 slots when gaming
