How Shall I Spend My Hard Earned Money?

Go to solution Solved by alby800,

I would like to have a SSD in my system because I am sick of my old sata 1 hard drive.

I love my ssd, but unless you are willing to give up the HDD and go with a 120gb ssd for the time being (like I did) then there is not really an option unfortunately.

Hello LTT forums

I am building my first computer and just wonder what parts I should get. I have $700 AUD to spend and

I already have the cpu which is a AMD fx 6300. I plan on ordering the parts tonight being black friday and everything.

Being in Australia I can only order from 2 websites, Amazon and a website called pccasegear

(http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=index). Thank you anyone who replies.

The issue with this is that it's not in AUD, it's in USD and some of the parts don't ship to Australia. Sorry, also thanks for the replie.

What state are you in, and are you in a capitol city that might have a online store place to pick up items

Do you need an OS?

Do you need a keyboard, mouse?

Do you need a monitor?

edit - and is there any preferred size and/or colour scheme?

Not bad

What do you think of this, all from PCCG

https://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=wish_lists&wlcId=380590&action=wish_lists

If you must go a little bit cheaper you could get a slightly worse PSU, and it would still be fine, although I would do this.

I would like to have a SSD in my system because I am sick of my old sata 1 hard drive.

[edit] I also have a 1tb external hard drive that is usb 3.

I love my ssd, but unless you are willing to give up the HDD and go with a 120gb ssd for the time being (like I did) then there is not really an option unfortunately.
