Is the Samsung 850 pro worth it? Like is it really, really reliable, durable, and will be consistent unlike other ssds like the Evo?

Well, it has some good feedback, but i'd go for something cheaper, like an MX100, as @Excon mentioned, pretty sure their 512gb SSD is $250 in Australia, which is a good price.....

I was just about to post about this. Say a 256gb Samsung 250 Pro vs a 512GB Crucial MX100. They're both about the £150 mark. Would I really notice a difference between the two?

Why would you guys go for something cheaper.850 pro got hell of a durability and it can write upto 150TB!

I recently pulled the trigger on 2 Intel SSD's for raid 0 after watching linus' video and reading tons of reviews. They definitely seem like solid drives with 5 years of warranty should anything go wrong. Samsung is offering double that with the 850 pros; 10 years warranty. I personally would have bought the 850 pros but they're more expensive and I'm not sure what they're behaviour is like when in raid, while Intel advertises that their drives support their on board raid 0.
