2k Holiday build

Cyber Monday is coming up, perfect time to pick up parts for my new build. This is going to be for gaming and a little bit of video/graphics/music rendering. I havent picked a video card because i wasn't sure on which one to get, that's where i would need yalls input and suggestions. This is my first ever build so i don't have a ton of experience. As the title says it is a 2k build.

GTX 980. If it's a bit to much than go for the 970.

Dammit, I bought my SSD's last year, the prices of SSD's right now make me angry.

 

Also, swing for the fences and get the GTX 980.
