Hey guys, I just finished building my first PC but I'm having trouble booting into the windows installation. I've done it plenty of times on other computers but this one won't budge.

I'm using a bootable USB because I don't have an optic drive yet. The USB and my HDD show up in BIOS but when I try to boot it says "reboot and Install proper boot device". I've tried everything that I can think of. I set the priority correctly, re installed 2 versions of windows on my USB multiple times. I'm frustrated and I don't have any other ideas.

My specs are:

Asus M5A97 LE R2.0

AMD FX 8350

EVGA GeForce GTX 750ti

Seagate 3TB HDD

G.Skill Ripjaws 2x4GB

Rosewill 650W

Format your USB drive and freshly boot a new Windows file(Maybe your windows file may be corrupted) and try installing it.

Maybe check if it is correctly booted in your USB drive and also check that if its a ISO file or not.

I've already tried that. Used 2 different Windows ISO's and formatted my USB about 3 times

Try other than Windows like Ubuntu and see what the problem is.

If you don't like to use Ubuntu i can give you one tip, First try to boot Ubuntu using the USB and install it and format all your drives and then try booting Windows again.

That'll do it.

I ain't sayin' jack shit!!
