I'll cut to the chase.

I'm building a barebone for my parents' use, only requirements are: it browses, boots and plays the occasional media smoothly!

I'm on a budget let's say around 300 EUR/375USD/421CAD. The OS I have.

Can't imagine anyone consciously wanting to put their 50+ parents through the hell that is Windows 8 (another reason why I convinced them not to go with a prefab rig)

So I did my research on what RAM and SSD to get, so don't need advice there.

Currently I'm thinking on 3 particular barebones, all three of which are 120 EUR/150USD/168CAD more or less.

So I'm directing myself to all of you out there, who have had any expieriences with any of these 3 models, to share the pros and cons. Or if you have any general thought of which one could be better based on: connectivity, processor performance, heat output, build quality etc..

It would help me out a great deal, 'cause atm they all look like valid options to me.

Thank you  :)

I'd go for the first one or the third one.

Just to make sure you don't go overboard on RAM or an SSD, 4GB of ram should be fine, and a 120GB Samsung 840 evo would be a good choice.

Specs: CPU - Intel i7 8700K @ 5GHz | GPU - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Motherboard - ASUS Strix Z370-G WIFI AC | RAM - XPG Gammix DDR4-3000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) | Main Drive - Samsung 850 Evo 500GB M.2 | Other Drives - 7TB/3 Drives | CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i Pro | Case - Fractal Design Define C Mini TG | Power Supply - EVGA G3 850W
