Replacing psu

I'm going to replace my psu as im having some issues with my graphics card and im not sure what else to do.  I have an asus r9 270x it says on the box that the minimum psu is 500 watts and i only have a 430 watt psu does this matter?  I was thinking of just replacing it with this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139048
