Hello friends,

I just thought I would share my new case as I am proud of it :) I honestly can't say anything bad about this case so far and can recommend it to anyone. It's all made out of very solid material and is just so great to work in. I will have some interior lighting at a later date. Here is the rig now:

I left the flash off because with it on the LEDs don't show up very well, & it's really dark because it's under my desk. I will be adding some interior lighting very soon I just got this today so I haven't done anything yet.

Nice.

What do you think of the window? Easily scratched? Smoked, not clear enough?

I do have some scratches on my window on the inside. They are not too bad. I have heard from many people you can contact Phanteks who will readily send you a replacement window if you suffer this. I am considering doing it, however the scratches are so minimal I'm not sure it's worth the effort. I'll see if it's visible when I get the interior lighting done. I don't think it's really smoked and it's pretty clear for the most part.

That's interesting because the windows being too dark and easily damaged is one of the main criticisms of Phanteks cases, and I haven't heard anything of replacement side panels being sent out.

I'm considering the Evolv, but it would cost me around $280NZ total.

Yeah, another thought is custom glass panels. If you are really upset with the window I'm pretty sure you could get custom glass for it at a glass shop. In fact this might be something I would do at a later date! Not sure how much it would cost but it would be pretty cool actually and easy cause you could just bring the side panel to the shop with you.

I do remember hearing about this before I ordered the case but I decided to go ahead with it anyways. The features of the case are so nice and it's build for water cooling. If you really like this case maybe you can replace the side with glass and I doubt that would cost you more than the 120$ more you're spending on that other case.

Food for thought :)
