I finished building rig that uses MSi SLI Plus as the Mobo but right now I'm unable to use the jacks on my machine; both front and the back.

I tried re-installing my Realtek driver countless times, checked on the BIOS setting several times as well, almost all the solutions I could find on the Net isn't showing any result.

So I thought maybe the awesome people here could lend a hand with my issue?

Thanks a lot

Did you check if Windows has set the proper input/output? Mine keeps on switching to my Webcams mic, despite having a Yeti :S

What do you mean by unable to use?

Is there no sound going out when plugged in?

Does windows not detect the device when plugged in?

In the first case open the audio device window (right-click the audio icon bottom right -> playback or audio)

Next look in all tabs to make sure it isn't muted in there.

Also if you have inline controls look if you haven't accidentally muted them there.

As for if windows doesn't detect them when plugged in I can't help you with that, sorry.

Good luck hope this helps you.
