DNA - USB Key

I have a usb key that you can see Disk 2 (E:) that has no Unallocated or Primary partion

 

Anyone got any ideas

 

I have tryed DISKPART with no luck

 

and HP USB Disk storage format tool

Maybe try Low Level Format tool. I know it works for magnetic discs. Maybe it'll work for your USB.

Once my flash drive was set so there was only a very small amount of space allocated (Just a few MB out of the 8GB), and I couldn't do shit to fix it in windows, so all I had to do was pop it over in a machine I had running linux and formatting it or something that I did on there seems to have fixed it.

 

So try messing around with it in linux, I think it would still work if you used a virtual machine for it, though I'd suggest booting it off a spare flash drive or something.

If you are trying to partition a USB drive, the best way I have found to do it was to use Easus Partition Manager, there is a free version that works perfectly.
