GTX980 scoring properly?

Go to solution Solved by SeanBond,

Yeah, that's where it should be, good score.

Hey there,

Is my i7-4790k & GTX980 scoring what you'd expect from 3DMark Firestrike? I've not OC'ed either yet but I will be tomorrow [just finished putting it together and downloading drivers].

Should I be expecting it to score higher or is this reasonable?

Thanks ;3

Let me see how my Silicon lottery played out.

I hate those lotteries. I keep losing. I have had the 780, 780 and 4670k and 4790k and all them got the absolutely balls to the wall average overclocks. lol 1200mhz stable in all games and 4.4ghz and 4.6ghz.

1200 is pretty average even without over volting. But I don't want to overvolt because I have a reference card. Thinking I might put a hg10 on it when it comes out for 780ti. Then I would over volt.

oh and yeah is that 7690k good? That's the 2018 12 core i5 right?
