Hi.

I just finished building my new gaming rig however the front audio panel dosent seem to work. I have already tried going into REALTEK HD AUDIO MANAGER however the mobo im using (Asus maximus VII hero) uses Supreme FX sound

and so i cant find the "DISABLE FRONT PANEL JACK DETECTION" option.

Any help would be great.

Thanks.

Did you make sure the front audio header is plugged in? The back is always better anyway so getting an extension cable to the back would be ideal. The back is amped while the front isn't and it also has less interference. The disable detection is in "advanced" options from what I remember. The supremefx driver is really just a realtek driver with an ROG skin on it.

@iContainNutz

If your audio header is plugged in and the driver is installed, then either there is something wrong with the case jacks or the motherboard header. Either way I don't think it's worth it to RMA since you will likely need to pay for shipping. Just get an extension cable from that back. It's better that way anyway.
