Yes the g430 is an amazing 7.1 headset for it's price point. It gives you an unfair advantage in FPS like bf4 ( SKILL LEVEL DIV 1 WHOOP (ME) ) But there is a downside, it is quite uncomfortable if you wear specs with huge frames :( . Other than that it is good! I assure you :)

the souncard definitly makes them sound better
