No video output from gpu

Got a new old motherboard, an asrock X58 extreme, with some bent pins for really cheap. I fixed the pins best as i could (only two tops were sketchy, and they're only power pins) and tried booting. It started fine, but nothing on the LED indicator on the board and no video on the attached monitor.

I have no hard drive attached, and it's a xeon CPU. One 4gb stick of ram installed, and some cheap presumably AMD graphics card.

 

What do you think it is, does the video card just not have drivers, or what? I'm not using an integrated GPU, as it's a xeon, and there aren't even outputs anyway

 

 

Thoughts? all is appreciated

Edit: GPU is from 2005, and it's PCIE.

If you happen to have a different GPU you could try, then use that, otherwise try changing the slot the GPU is in if possible.

Tried it in first and second PCIE 2.0 slots.

And to correct the first post, it's a presumably ATI gpu from 2005...That i know works

I did, one had the dog bend broken off and the second should hopefully be touching. It was just a bit hit or miss

try to get it working it seems to be the issue each one matter o they all need to be touching unless new asus mobo then only half
