I'm trying to set up a wiimote on my PC and having a terrible time. I would like to use it primarily with the dolphin emulator, but perhaps other interesting apps too. I bought a DBPower wiimote and a kinivo btd-300 dongle. The dongle seems to work, I was able to pair up my phone at least. Looking at the dolphin boards, I'm pretty sure my dongle should be just fine for use with a wiimote. So I am trying to see if anyone has experience with a DBPower wiimote. It doesn't appear on bluetooth devices at all. I tried doing a fun little force install of the Toshiba Stack to see if that would change things but that didn't seem to be going too well. Any info/help/discussion is welcome!

If you can't find a fix for your hardware you might want to consider the mayflash dolphinbar. So far I've had no issues other than trying to get the motion controls as separate mappings for use outside of dolphin so that could be a potential problem, but I haven't really tried either. Its usb cable is it bit small too so you might need an extender. Not sure if it supports your 3rd party wiimote though. Just something to consider as a plan b.
