Im cant get the decision between the intel pentium g3258 or the intel i3 4150

Which cpu is more better? I kmow that the intel pentium g3258 need to be overclocked to be more better

I'd say i3. Even for gaming, having just two cores with no Hyper Threading, even when overclocked, is starting to become a struggle.

Speaking truth right here.

But there are some circumstances that could favor one over the other. Are you looking to upgrade your cpu soon after this? or are you look to have this for a while?

Stop gap = g3258

longevity = i3

id have to say i loved my g3258 for the amount of time i had it and its a very solid entry to the 1150 chipset. as said above if you plan on using the i3 for a longer period of time use that but if its just to hold you over until you move on up to the big boys get the pentium its a hell of a budget processor

Honestly the only reason I'd recommend a G3258 to someone right now is if they're waiting to get a 5670K/5770K or whatever the upcoming chips will be called.
