iTunes 12

Hi Guys,

I have just started fiddling around with the new iTunes 12 (on my Windows 8) and the "Get info" tab has changed drastically, most of which is for the good. One thing is proving to be a bit of a joke though. I am very precise and OCD with the 10,000+ songs I have in a way which all the names, albums, genre of songs etc etc etc is all relevant to the album and if not in an album, the individual song will have the correct single artwork. I have artwork for everything and this has taken me bloody years to get right. Sad I know! Geek, Yes!

With the new "Get info" tab, you can add artwork, but I can't see how you can add the artwork from a simple drag and drop from a image on a browser as you used to be able to do. It seems as though to add artwork, you have to have a dedicated artwork folder with the images saved in there to be able to add them to iTunes and the relevant song. This is an absolute waste of time and memory! It is very time consuming and to be frank, BS!! How can I add individual artwork to each song without actually saving this in a dedicated folder on my pc?

All I want to do is drag and drop from google images and done. Not this faffing about!

Any help would be great!

Don't get me started on iTunes, it has fked me over really annoyed with it. It won't let me change my Audiobooks from Music to audiobook, I losted all my playlists (over 80) and when I deleted a playlist (of around 300 songs) it actually deleted the songs from my computer, now I need to redownload them, half of the artwork is messed up, most albums are now using Eminem - Curtain call cover as their own, I have tons of them, cannot use get info on multiple files as they are different formats, AND the UI is horrible. I will be uninstalling it tomorrow and going back to one that came out a couple of years ago.

Why change the logo to red ? Blue was fine.

Anyway, when it comes to albums even those that you didn't buy through iTunes, if the song name and artists and album are correct it should be able to search and get the cover for you.
