Readyboost barely makes a difference from what I know, I used it and it barely did anything. The USB interface is WAY WAY WAY too slow compared to the DDR3 interface.

 

As for that, do you have a 64-bit OS installed?  never mind, I didn't read the post all the way. You should install a 64-bit version of Windows.

Sorry I was waiting for a notification of reply but I did not get one, don't know why.

 

I thought about installing 64bit but since I only have 4GB of RAM and 64bit needs more RAM than 32bit, was not sure if it is worth the trouble (I have a lot of crap that will take forever to re-download) so I dismissed the idea.
