So I got crashes (within 2 minutes in OS or even before being able to log in) in Windows technical preview so I decided to reinstall it.

I put in my USB flash drive I used to install it earlier and first tried refresh... nope. Asked to "unlock the drive" with windows installed. So I start searching how I'm even supposed to do that (windows is not an option now, my laptop won't take a SATA drive since I don't have a hub for that.)

The repair option didn't work either, it did something, was processing and gave up, useless!

I figure out you can do commands in the UEFI, great!... I thought.

These commands were incredibly limited (and are different from Linux's commands) so I find "DISKPART" is the key here, they say... I tried some stuff and in the end I found out this was not going to work, I had to make a fresh re-install! So I try that but the partition type(or whatever it's called) was not good. it was(because it was still used) an MBR while the installer needed a GPT... so I cleared my SSD after crying for 2 minutes(I'll miss you S.T.A.L.K.E.R soc saves :'C) with the clear command in diskpart and then "convert gpt" and then when re-installing there was no more error when selecting the disk. YAAAAAAAawwwww shite...

I got the message "Windows could not format a partition on disk 1. The error occurred while preparing the computer's system volume. Error code 0x8004242D.

If you know what I should do beside crying.... then please, please help me! I'm getting desperate. I need my PC for school work(heavy compiling) and main of all games.

Thanks for reading.

It's not on a PCI-e SSD. Just on a SATA III, Windows used to be installed on the SSD without a problem and no need for additional drivers but just then the problem occurred.

I've seen that thread already yet none of the answers helped.
