deleting undeletable windows 8

Hi! i have a folder in C drive that i'm pretty sure for Dirt3 as it had nick name that i used for the microsoft game live for the folder name. i've deleted the game thru control panel to get some space, but folder still there 10Gb and wont let me delete it. i've tried changing name(it will allow to change the name of the folder) and deleting files separately  (sometimes helps ;P ) and following instructions in this video command line, but get "access denied".

Is there way to get rid and just nay file "i dont like". I promise to use this power with responsibility  :rolleyes:

i think you need to format it

Try get "unlocker" and use that to delete the files. It will take some time (and CPU has high CPU usage) but it worked for me.

I haven't seen this issue since i ran Windows XP. It used to get on my tits, big time.

I would try this too. Get ubuntu on a dvd or usb and then just try it when it boots. then try to delete the files from within the ubuntu os, hopefully windows won't be locking them in ubuntu too.

I think taking ownership would be the most convenient option. It's a nifty program that lets you override ownership from system.
