new ASUS mb

Hi

I'm looking for a new good motherbord. I.be use Asus for many years. So my next motherbead is also going to be Asus. I don't need fancy audio. I have a ASUS ROG Xonar Phoebus.

I,m going to upgrade my CPU form a fx 8320 to a i7 4790k and pass the old motherboard and CPU to my son.

So a good Asus motherboard z97 the have min 4 fan controller room for 4 HD + dvd and room for oc from 300 -400 MHz or more. I have a h100i. A good mother board for the most money.

And max 200$ if it cost less it.s more then ok. But no cheep stof for 50 - 60$

MAXIMUS VII HERO seems to fit the bill pretty well. It is 204, really nice mobo., I like that it is red/black rather than gold/black.

Does it have to be Asus? A Gigabyte Z97X-UD5H would be a solid choice.

ya the maximus hero VII on new egg is $200 for a new one , open box ones are areound 160.00

also another motherboard to look at is the asus z97 sabertooth mark 2 new they are 164.00 and a open box one is $132.00

also you can get an open box asus gene VII for 209.00 new  and 163 for an open box on newegg

Thanks for all the input , o'm on youtube looking at reviews, and the look is not importen, the case i have is a close case, and the soundcard i have, keep them comming, i'll look in reviewa on all the motherboard
