Is Cyberpowerpc's Zeus Mini Worth it in This Case?

I've been browsing lots of computer building websites and Cyberpowerpc seems to be the best in terms of cheap build premium fees. I would definitely build my own rig but my mother will not allow me to because she thinks i'll screw something up and throw $800+ Down the toilet (But I know what i'm looking at in terms of computers) But oh well.

Were looking at a $879 build straight from cyberpowerpc's website :

CYBERPOWERPC Zeus Mini mITX Gaming Chassis w/ USB 3.0

Intel® Core™ i5-4460 3.20 GHz

(Stardard intel approved cooler)

MSI H81I mITX Motherboard

Netis WF2412 802.11n 150Mbps (comes free with the motherboard)

8GB (4GBx2) DDR3/2133MHz Dual Channel Memory (Corsair Vengeance)

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 (Reference)

750 Watts - EVGA SuperNOVA 750B1 80 Plus Bronze Modular Power Supply (Free upgrade from CM V550 PSU)

128GB Apotop S3C SATA-III 6.0Gb/s SSD

1TB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 32MB Cache 7200RPM HDD

No Optical Drive

Heres a link to the exact build : http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/saved/1GHAJ0

(May be expired or the prices of some items may be changed by the time you are reading this)

Thank you for the help.

You would have to fuck up pretty hard to break all of the components.

for coming up at 900$ I could fit a 290 in for that price. =/ sorry I can't recommend that.

Would she be okay with a custom rig that a professional built? iirc NCIX will build a computer for you for $50.

As pre-builts go, I'd say it's decent (I think), but you could do a LOT better on your own. How old are you?

.. I'm sorry, but that's a terrible build.

A locked i5 and an H81 motherboard for almost $900? No thanks

Why not g3258 and OC ? or a 6300? Both are a lot cheaper than the 4460. You can even get a 8350 for less than the 4460

How do you get a PCPartpicker list to look like that? ^^

A locked i5 is MUCH better than a G3258 or a 6300, and in gaming a 4460 is still better than an 8350 (and not anymore expensive once you consider that a 6300/8350 both require an aftermarket cooler and a high end board).

6300 isn't good with higher end cards and bottlenecks not worth it; G3258 isn't really the best option for higher end cards.

In Pc party picker find export/markup click it then click BBcode then copy and paste.

What about in non-gaming scenarios where more cores > less faster cores? OP never said what this build was for.

You could also go 8320 instead of 8350 to offset the price of a cooler and more expensive mobo. They are essentially the same chip.

How so? Maybe in gaming the 4460 would be better, but what about cases where you can benefit from more cores? OP never said that the machine was going to be used for gaming/only gaming.

Also when overclocked, a 8320 would be no slouch in gaming. I kinda see it as being better suited all around, versus the 4460 being better in gaming.

It's cheaper, too

If you go 8350 instead it still comes out to $805

Amd has lower minimum in games and slows down higher end Gpu's. Anything Floating point on an AMD chip will be treated like a quad core. It's not worth it to go with a 3+ year old Socket. More motherboard features on Lga 1150 also.

K then.. I stand corrected. You seem to know a lot more about this stuff than me.

OP, go for the 4460  :)

If hes rendering, a Xeon 1231v3 (locked i7 with no iGPU) would be better and work out to be about the same cost as an 8320.
