For CSGO and League that will be fine.

You should also try and get either an R7 260x or a GTX750Ti (whichever is cheaper).

If you want to play AAA titles like Battlefield 4 then you should get a better cpu, and i3 if its affordable, if not then an AMD 760k/860k.

If you can go up to 8 gb of ram that would help a lot with daily work depending on your habits.

I would go 8GB of RAM. Other than that pretty good for CSGO and League. Anything else and you will need a stronger GPU and possibly CPU. So if you intend on playing AAA titles or intensive indie games you may want to look into a z97 board and a better GPU.

Alternatively, 2nd and maybe even 3rd gen i7's and i5's off ebay should help the budget. That ani edition Pentium might be nice for the price, but a 3 year old 2500k will smack it around and is prob super cheap now.

Used sandy/Ivy and compatible mobos aren't that cheap, and then you still have to deal with used parts, which is never ideal.

Oh i forgot. the OC genie 4 feature in the motherboard. should i do it because i have no idea of OC and heard the g3258 got a huge performance upgrade when OCed.

Overclock manually, it's easy.

Change the CPU Core voltage to 1.30v, set the CPU multiplier to 42 and run Prime95 or Aida64 for a few hours while running HWMonitor. Prime95 and Aida64 will both put the CPU under 100% load, if no crashes occur then the system is stable. And you use HWMonitor to make sure temps stay below 80ºc.

If 42 is stable, then try 43, then 44, and so on. Once you find the highest multiplier, then you slowly lower the voltage little by little and try to find the lowest stable voltage at that multiplier.

1. Z97 Motherboard: The G3258 overclocks like a beast, and with a Z97 mobo, you can overclock it and it will work right out of the box without having to flash the bios.

2. 8gb RAM: It will really help in light multitasking, and ram hungry programs.

an i5-4130 + h81 board > G3258 + Z97 board. You can also overclock a G3258 on an H81 board without too much trouble.
