yea you are right but they are outlyers as they tend to be overpriced vs noctua imo and have specialized brackets that are impossible to install and 130mm fans

you can get a good deal on an H100i at newegg right now

Air in AIO liquid are capable of providing equal levels of cooling performance at around the $75 mark. It just depends on what you prefer aesthetically.

ya im not a big fan on the tuff instalation and the way big heatsinks look

well they are a bit overpiced and the mounting is so bad that i really don't ever want to buy another be quiet cpu cooler again i have a dark rock 3 myself and the 135mm fan is a bit strange but it is very very quiet and performs well

@hoodedskills since you are going to have a define R4 you can only fit a 240mm radiator on the top i would recommend a H105 if you just want a 240mm AIO also if you are planing to expand to watercool your whole system i would recommend the Swiftech H220x but if you want to put the radiator in the front you can put a 280mm radiator in the front and i would recommend the NZXT X61

this

The x61 is a great cooler as i use it myself and the h105 is not as powerful but would be more convenient

yeah but you can buy 3.5" to 5.25" adapters so you could have like two hard drives in the 5.25" bays and if you are planing on getting ssds you can use the stealth mount on the back which is stupid imo becuase you have to remove the motherboard to unscrew it you could just let it hang in the back or just buy some Velcro and do it that way

Another thing you should keep in mind is the number of points of failure increases with water.

you need a pump, fan, tubing, radiator, and fittings for water

vs just having a heat sink and fans on air

if you read the OP agian he says he wants an AIO water cooler not a full custom loop like you are describing

ok so i have like 2 choices i think at this point. the h100i or the h105? witch one should i buy?

H105 is a bit thick; you might want to check if it fits in your case.

Might want to take a look at H110 as well; 2x140mm fan (bigger than H100i; slightly cooler) and costs nearly the same with H100i.
