Info:

I am going to be playing games like Smite, League, Guild Wars 2, Arche Age, Planet side 2 and Rift,  on 1080p with ultra/high settings. Also I will do a bit of CAD but nothing major since I already have a workstation (laptop). I just don't want to spend unnecessary money and get little/no improvement, but I want to availability to upgrade in the future.

Questions:

Should I go with the Intel Core i5-4590 3.3GHz or get a cheaper Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz ($219)?

Is the Asrock Fatal1ty H97 overkill for me, i need PCIe slot for the wireless card, 1150 compatible, 4 ram slots?

Is it better to go with the H87 motherboard than a h97 (just really asking is intel 5th gen worth getting or is it better to go with a cheaper h87 and then in few year if needed, buy a new motherboard?

In relation to the questions above, if it is overkill then is a cheaper micro ATX a better option?

since I am not overclocking the CPU will the stock CPU fan keep it cool enough?

If you find something I could improve/spend less on other than what i have mentioned then please tell me.

Also everything in is $AUD (Australian dollar).

Build:

rp2668Q.jpg

Subtotal $1,206.00

GST $109.64

Grand Total $1,206.00 (this is also the around the budget I can go for)

1) Use pcpartpicker

2) Get a 4670k processor to overclock in the future ( you would need a high quality heatsink.)

3) Get the gigabyte gtx 970, it runs cool and overclocks like a champ!
