I don't think you can get a Xbox One controller connected to a PC wirelessly at this point. If you have a wireless controller you'd have to connect it via USB to Micro-USB i believe.

Microsoft released a "PC" Xbox One controller, it's listed on Amazon, which is just a wired version.

I don't think they have released dongles for the XBone Controllers. You should get this http://www.amazon.com/Micro-Cable-XBOX-PLAYSTATION-Controllers/dp/B00852KK28

Wireless dongles havent been made yet as the other guy pointed out, for now your stuck with wired unfortunately.

Yes, you are all right, so if i buy a controller now is there a chance that microsoft will release a wireless reciever that is compatible? Or how did they do it with the 360 controller?

I don't think they'll be releasing one anytime soon since they have not said a single thing about one.

I would think they will release one sooner or later but im not holding my breath. I would be an extremely happy person if they did though, Having a usb cable draped across my bed to play unity is mildly annoying :/

Just use a micro USB cable man. That's it. Download the drivers and use a cable.

Yes but is it good? Not really. It's just as laggy as it is to use on the console.

Case: Fractal Design Define R4 MB: MSI Z77A-GD55  CPU: i5 3330 OCd to 3.4Ghz CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i RAM: Kingston HyperX Blu 2x8GB @ 1600MHz GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming PSU: Seasonic M12II 650W HDD: Two Seagate Barracuda 2TB @ 7200 RPM SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB

Yup, Im using the call of duty advanced warfare special edition (i hate cod but the controller is hella nice!) and it works without issues. The special editions and most of the newer batch controllers are built a lot nicer then the launch controllers. Heavier plastic and a more rigid feel to them.

Odd, I haven't noticed any lag from the X1 controller on the Xbox one or the PC. With the X1 controller while in wireless mode, it could be possible for other 2.4GHz wireless based things to cause interference and cause some issues. But once the micro usb cable is connected to the controller, the wireless radio in the controller is turned off; making it a normal wired controller. What are you using as your display device? A HDTV, or a pc monitor with HDMI in? If you are using a HDTV, then you need to make sure all the tv's post processing and fancy image effects are turned off on the HDMI in you are using for the pc and the X1, and the gaming mode turned on (if it has one); as that will give you the best experience on a tv. Better yet, use a HDMI DVI port if your tv has one, though this port will only do video and not audio. If you are using a gaming grade monitor, then not sure what is going on. But you really shouldn't be getting any lag on the controller on either system.
