Hey Techies!

I've been looking over my build, and I'm going to have 5 fans total. This build is watercooled, so there will be no dedicated "CPU fan"

I would like to use Fan XPert2 with my ASUS mobo.

The board I'm getting has 5 fan headers, includding the CPU. Is this a problem?

Also, will a fan controller work with Fan XPert2? (I don't think it will....)

Having 5 fan headers should not be a problem. I am not sure about the Fan Xpert2 though....

Life is pain. Anyone who says any different is either selling something or the government.

Fan xpert will not work with a controller as far as I know. You could always add a splitter and run two of your fans off one header if you end up needing more
