Cached RAM

Go to solution Solved by decer304,

Well, the computer does reserve a certain portion of the RAM for its own use. The pagefile on the ssd if an overflow cache for the ram, so that when the ram gets filled up, thye unused files in the ram gets moved there. This pagefile can be customised in size. Also when it says 10 gigs avaliable. it usually means that 6 gigs are in use, and 10 gigs are free

How many computer programmers does it take to change a light bulb?

None, that's a hardware problem.  :D
