RAM Compatibility

hello i am thinking of adding another set of dual 4GB corsair vengeance pro ram sticks (8GB in total) to my pc, so that i have 16GB but i don't know if they will work together as, Linus said in one of he's videos that it is not 100% guaranteed to work, i have a gigabyte z97x-sli mother board and i already have dual 4GB vengeance pro sticks occupying 2 of the 4 slots, i would be grateful for any advice on this matter
