Closed loop options for HAF XB

Go to solution Solved by Ghost,

The case is in the link above. My question is : if I use the front 2x 120mm for a radiator, I will have basically no intake fans... And is that a good idea?

Why can't you use the radiator fans as intake fans?

So I really like this case. I'm trying to decide how air flow will work, which and where water cooling radiators should be put. It's for an overclocked 4770k, gaming pc, probably a 780 graphics card also.

Usually fans bring air in from the front, but it's perfect for a H220 radiator exhaust. The rear has only room for a 120mm rad. The top is room for a 200mm fan exhaust... If i use the front, rear and top for exhaust, then where ia the air intake?

Decisions.. Decisions..

Little help

Hmm.. Only if theres a closed loop 780? I don't know of any.. I'd get one ...otherwise, no.

Most likely an MSI gaming 780 with 2 big fans blowing out of the side panel, with the future possibility of a second 780 and some other time.

Maybe I'm stuck with a single 120mm rad closed loop cooler on the rear and 2 120mm intake on the front.

Does your GPU draw air in from the side panel? I don't know your case. But if the GPU draws air in from the side panel it won't be a problem. Why is it you can't draw air in via H220?

i found this site that has fan filters.. since the front panel comes off so eaily and all the intake will come from the front
