My current PC Specs:

CPU: i5-3230m

GPU: GT 710m 2GB DDR3

RAM: 8GB DDR3

I've been getting FPS spikes ever since i bought Titanfall this week, Don't really know whats up with that and i thought it was the game but when i returned to BF3, it started to lag too. I'm getting an average of 45FPS but it would drop to 0 for a second and continue. It doesn't happen with games like naruto shippuden ultimate ninja storm revolution, Call of duty advanced warfare and borderlands pre sequel. Why does it happen with EA games? I've been able to play it without this lag spikes for a year now..

Lower the texture size, It could be that the video memory runs out, It often results in stuttering.

Yeah, its a notebook. My temperatures are pretty safe, 60~80°C with the max threshold at 105°C. Its not overclocking or underclocking. When I commented before it was at 2.9Ghz while playing BF3 but now it is at 2.6Ghz. Can't be thermal throttling as it isn't reaching near the thermal threshold.

I uninstalled my graphics driver and played around with the iGPU for a couple of hours. Then I installed 344.65 graphic drivers and all worked well for BF3! But once i started titanfall, the FPS spikes started again for BF3 also ! ARGH! Is titanfall changing any crucial system settings or what not? Why is it that AFTER playing titanfall, i would not be able to play bf3 etc properly?
