herp derp TN r badz...

I have the ROG swift and it looks great especially with the 144Hz refresh rate. Once you've felt the smoothness of 144Hz you'll never go back!

You can get better colors if you go into the Nvidia control panel and adjust colors from there.

I am trying to decide between the LG 34UC97-S and one 980 or the ROG swift and two 980s, which would you pick?

Gaming on a 34" panel is really annoying it's just too much screen to play on when sitting the usual 1-3 feet way from your monitor.

IPS: if you care about color reproduction and are happy with a perfectly fine 60 fps.

TN: Swift is 144Hz is more important to you than good colors.

If all you do is play fps games, get the swift.

If you do ANYTHING else (watch movies, youtube, photoshop/video editing, etc) for the love of god....please get any other panel type vs tn... IPS and similar monitors bring your games to life...

I would actually like to see a video of someone taking that monitor (which has a superior TN panel than most) and try to mess with the calibration to see how close they could get it to ips, pls, or va.

Well, that depends.

What's your current monitor?

If you're using a 144hz monitor now, get the ROG swift.

If you're use a  60hz IPS monitor, get the 34U97C.

If you're using a 60hz TN panel, it's a wash, get whichever you feel you'd like more

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it
