So Im planing to pretty much sell my Alienware x51 as a bare bones system and then use the GPU, CPU, HDD and RAM in a new build, what do you think im going to get for a bare bones Alienware x51 system that has the 1155 socket motherboard and I have a 240w and 330w PSU and the case is in PERFECT condition?

Heres my current part list for the new build, everything that is $0 I already stripped from the system.

You would get a HUGE performance gain if you did.

I just don't have the cash for it, I still have no idea what people will pay for a x51 bare bone system, would make a bad ass HTPC system and I have no idea what the 240w and 330w PSU is worth, If i came up with the extra cash I'd probably get a 970. :L

Do not get an RM, please.

Get something better for the money like a Rosewill Capstone or EVGA NEX650G, or something better overall like a Seasonic G or EVGA 750G2

My friend has a Supernova 750G2 and said it's amazing, thanks for the recommendation.

Yes and it's also a HUGE investment since he already has a 760 and he'd have to pay a lot on top of what it'd sell for to get a 980

No offense really, but I don't understand why everyone recommends a 970/980 for everything
