If you can boot it up, try checking your temps to see if its overheating.

I would determine if it's a software or hardware problem first by running Linux off a USB drive then doing stress test on there.

Ok, I know noting about Linux. Where can i get it and stuff? And how do i check temps?

If it is in your bios you could check there, otherwise if you can get into windows then download and install coretemp, then it will tell you your CPU temps.

its a freaking terrible card, i have two of them (regrettably).

I would suggest RMAing the card, and maybe complain to asus and try to get a different card back.

I will do that too, but i have to get a new card first, because i don't have an iGPU.

Another thing you can do, is run a stress test like aida64 or MSIKombuster to get the power usage up, and see if it crashes with and without the card installed.

Ok i'll get those stress testers. and to just clarify artifact is like the checker flag thing that pops up during game play? Because i have that happen too. And RMAing has a 30 day window correct? if so im way passed that.

Ah. well troubleshoot first right. I really don't want to buy a new card lol

yeah. Give those tests a shot, and see.

Either way, i suggest you go yell at ASUS and try to get a new, different card, when we figure out what is wrong.
