Hey guys, i want to put together a new rig and need some advice.

This will be primarily used for gaming/photo editing/video editing.

This is going to be a  Black and Green build.

I am getting the Razer H440 so i want it all to match.

Also want this to be intel.

Able to support 2+ monitors

Able to run any new game in 60fps and 1080

Unsure about the components that i want to put into it. I want to do at least a liquid cooled CPU so one of that all in one NZXT or Corsair units would be required.

I also already have 2 samsung 256gig ssd's. So no need for another.

I will want to have a 1tb harddrive installed but that should be all i need, currently write to an external 5tb so that it can travel with me.

I want this to be upgradable in the future if i want.

Budget will be around 1000-1500 for the rest of the components ignore the things i already have.

Would also like some monitor suggestions but dont include those in the budget, will have a separate budget for them.

I appreciate any help you guys can give! as well as giving some insight into why you picked things so that i can start to help the community and not need help the next time i build something :D

Thanks

Ron

Please tell us what you do have.. so that way we don't have to worry about placing them into partpicker.

I have 2 Samsung 840 Pro Series 256GB 2.5" solid state Drives

NZXT H440 ATX Mid Tower Case.

This http://pcpartpicker.com/p/mdvN23 and an VG248QE monitor from ASUS is the monitor i will keep on recommending.

Power supply? Ram? CPU cooler? 1tb HD? OS?

But thanks for posting anyways. i will look into that monitor

i was hoping that i could get some insight into why everyone is picking these things since people are picking different components.

He has chosen a decently powerful CPU because you you say you photo edit/video edit therefore a good cpu is definitely required. The 16gb of ram would be to make that photo/video editing process as smooth as possible. The GTX 970 is a perfect card for gaming at this price point and resolution of gaming and the PSU allows you for future expandability.

But personally I would choose my choice from above, same cpu but better graphics card and psu with a nice red motherboard to match your colour scheme

How does a red graphics card match a Black/Green color scheme?
