What are you going to use this for? If it includes recording/rendering I recommend an i7 and 16GB of RAM

Use of build/intended budget?

This is a gaming RIG, I have no specific budget, just trying to keep costs low as I will be getting a monitor also.

So are you trying to keep costs low or do you not have a budget?

A custom water loop isn't the cheapest way to go.

I don't think you can do a water-cooled build for 1600$ without compromising performance/features...with the money you save by not buying custom water cooling parts you can get 16GB of RAM, an i7, etc...which do affect performance

Yes, you can overclock the i5 to get similar speeds as the i7, but games in the future will benefit from aditional cores/threads and more RAM.

Well, Just trying to keep everything within $1600

Considering your budget, your build will cost to much.

This is what I would/(you could) do instead: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/155j8

I dun think I can afford an i7 as an i5 in Singapore is almost the same price as an i7 in US or Canada. I'm going for 16GB of RAM also.

Haswell has better mobos. Just get the 4670k and the cheapest z87 mobo.

The 840 Pro will perform noticeably the same as the normal 840. The difference in speeds are negligible there and you can save money with the normal 840.

Why Kraken x40? No mass storage?

After working for 2 months, I have almost enough money to build the whole PC now. There are changes to the parts.

GSkill Ripjaws -> Kingston Hyper X RAM

I have some good deals for it

Samsung 840 Pro -> Samsung 840 Evo / Kingston SSDnow V300 / ADATA XPG SP900 / Plextor M5S 120GB

I can get the listed SSDs at a good price, still deciding on which to go though...

Western Digital Black RE4 1TB

I can import a legit one from China and it is cheaper and can be RMA-ed locally in my country.

DeepCool Tesseract

It is the new case by DeepCool. Although the case has no window, but the fan grill on the side panel is big enough to be one. It is really cheap and has all the tool less features as well. Will be swapping out the front fan with either 2 Gentle Typhoons or AP123s as a guy in another forum shows that thermal performance improves if the fans are swapped.
