OnePlus One purchasing decision help

I got an invite and I'm still wondering whether or not it's worth buying it now or waiting for future phones that will have better specs or possibly a revision of the One, and I would like to know your experiences with the One if you have used it before.

The one plus one is legit the best phone. The hardware is amazing but the software is meh. Cyanogen Mod has had a few issues such as locking me out of my phone forcing me to factory reset it. But if you leave Custom Lockscreen unchecked (Its like this by default) all will be good. I noticed the other day i was watching linus on twitch using my OnePlusOne and the 1080p screen just blew me away. I know there might be a One Plus Two coming out but apparently its just a rumour. With the 3GB of Ram, 1080p Screen, 2-3 Day battery life (moderate usage), in my opinion it is the best. Get it, you wont regret it.

I've been watching many videos on the One and the reviewers have said that most of the early problems have been fixed. Do you have any major issues I should know about or are they just little annoyances that wont be too much of a bother?

No not really, only thing that annoys me is not having emoji in snapchat :P and everything else is like pure android it seems.

In the Lock Screen DONT enable Custom Lockscreen. There is currently a bug with it that after a while will crash and you wont be able to use your phone. Its off by default, so keep it that way. Apart from that the little annoyance of misclicking the space button and pressing home...

This doesn't mean I can't set a password/passcode does it?

You can set password, passcode, face recog you just cant use extra feature such as double tap to wake up screen, have calendar notifications. With it unticked it will be the default android lockscreen with the circle shortcut things.
