Well I suppose it depends on what you're doing. If you're just browsing the Internet and checking your email, it's perfectly fine once it's all set up and running.

it's the best OS now (apart from gaming obvs) it's easy to set up and everything just works, Linux moves so fast that yeh 5 years ago it was a pain to get set up, but i'd like to add that 5 years the windows version was Vista and look what a cluster f**k that was.

The software centre is awesome also.

 

there is so many versions of linux you can't paint them all with the same brush, that would be like saying windows is crap because the last version you used was ME.

 

At the end of the day it's all personal preference and what you are using the computer for, i have 7 on my gaming rig and Kubuntu on my office PC and truth be told if steam linux starts getting better i'll switch my gamer to linux also. :)
