Have fun overclocking on a non overclocking board and a intel stock cooler :). Do you already have a case?

First of all, all ASUS 1150 boards support overclocking now. They were all unlocked through a bios update. Secondly, the 3258 comes with a copper core cooler that dissipates more heat than the average stock cooler allowing VERY high overclocks on the 3258. The whole point of the CPU is to buy a cheap board and no additional purchase of a heatsink and get a high overclock.

Intel Inside. Overweight guy in his 30's outside.

It's not an asus board. No matter how fast a copper core can conduct heat it is still limited by the surface area of the aluminium fins.

No I am getting the case, but the one I am getting didn't show on Part Picker. And you can overclock on the Board, with a BIOS update, plus I won't overclock to high until I get a Hyper 212 or H80i

Oh if you want to know the reason I am getting a expensive (sort off) board is because I want Crossfire, I want to run something like 2x 280x in Crossfire.

So it does look like you can overclock on this board you just have to know how to do a bios flash. If your going to do 280x crossfire then possibly save up a bit more money and get a 280x straight out rather than stuffing around with a 750ti.

No need for the Flash Update, because the G3258 is Supported by the Board out of the box I can just do a normal update ... I think and the 750 ti will go to a friend probably or in my old Current System

ASRock has done the unlocking on most of their boards as well. I suggest you look that up. I also suggest that you look up the fact that you can OC a 3258 to the moon on the stock cooler. Google it.

@bmwm3186http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/PPBhGX

Here is the final build, I think. I am deciding whether I want to Crossfire with 2 7850's or just get something like a 280x.

I think I will upgrade the CPU later on down the road to a i5 4690k just so I don't bottleneck high end stuff. But the RAM First

Anyway don't need to be caring about that at this point in time because I am only playing games like CSGO and League of Legends. Also what kind of FPS would I be looking at playing CSGO 5v5 on High @ 1080p, Also I get about a 7-14 ping most of the time if I am playing on Australian Servers

Thanks for the help on this build, If you look you will see I have asked many times for a build like this but don't get the answer I am looking for, someone is always like get a i5 and no Graphics card.... :D Lol,

Okay thanks again

vs like 100 on max... I don't know what to choose, I play at like 40fps on low, 1600x900. Going to go with the G3258 route
