GParted is pretty good.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

To be really lazy (like me) you could just buy a new hard drive and install the OS on that. My F drive is an old Vista system lmao

Does this provide a perfect clone? I mean can I boot from the clone once I'm done?

Plus I could boot on it, but why would I event want that

Yes, it's a perfect clone, so you can boot on it without problem. I used it several time, like when I was upgrading my SSD. But just to be sure, put the targeted hard drive in the primary position. Like if you're upgrading an hard drive on a laptop, put the new one in the laptop and the old one in the enclosure to be sure at 99,9% there will be no problem booting. And a backup of course. And afterward I boot on an USB linus to use Gparted to adjust the partition if the hard drive is bigger. http://clonezilla.org/show-live-doc-content.php?topic=clonezilla-live/doc/03_Disk_to_disk_clone

Hi there @Ragnaroken

For cloning software I personally use Acronis True Image, which has a free download WD version. You can download it from here:

And another link with steps on how to use it for cloning:

Hope this helps.

Cheers! :)
