  1. It looks good. But i don't know. I don't feel like spending that much money on this older PC. I'm looking for a price range around 100$-130$
  2. I'm looking to buy a new motherboard to make my second rig with an i7 2600k more portable. Any good recommendations? Current Specs: SPECS: CPU Intel Core i7 2600K @ 3.40GHz RAM 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 1600MHz Motherboard ECS P67H2-A3 (CPU 1) Graphics 2048MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series (Sapphire/PCPartner) The case I have my eyes on is the CM elite 130 or the Thermaltake Core v1 since they are dirt cheap
  3. After some trying decided to go and give it another shot. I finally found out how to change my Ram frequency. Some option at the M.I.B II settings that auto set my ram frequency to 1333mhz had to disable it for it to allow me to change it to 1600mhz. That's a start at least. Now I have to find the option that blocks me from changing my CPU frequency. It does allow me to change my CPU voltage which is weird.
  4. I can't even change my Ram frequency http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Product/Product_Detail.aspx?DetailID=1205&CategoryID=1&MenuID=103&LanID=0 In the site it says that it does overclock. I just don't know how to unlock the settings without it resetting. http://www.ecs.com.tw/extra/images/for_highlight/mib3-ui.jpg
  5. Hello, I'm having issues overclocking my i7 with this motherboard. Any time that i try to make changes to the clock speed and reboot it it resets to it's original state. Everything saves except for anything that has to do with overclocking. I can't even change my Ram to 1600 mhz it's stuck at 1333 mhz and I can't change it. I updated the BIOS and it says its not recommended to downgrade it. Anyone has a good guide on the Bios of this motherboard? SPECS: Operating System Windows 8.1 64-bit CPU Intel Core i7 2600K @ 3.40GHz 45 °C Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology RAM 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24) Motherboard ECS P67H2-A3 (CPU 1) 38 °C Graphics SAMSUNG (1920x1080@60Hz) 1950w (1366x768@60Hz) 2048MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series (Sapphire/PCPartner) 55 °C Storage 931GB Seagate ST1000DM003-1CH162 ATA Device (SATA) 38 °C Optical Drives No optical disk drives detected Audio AMD High Definition Audio Device
  6. Does this provide a perfect clone? I mean can I boot from the clone once I'm done?
  7. Yeah I'm upgrading and too lazy to format / install W8.1 all over again I want to clone it to a partition. What software do you guys recommend?
  8. Let it be silent! Edit: Forgot my favorite is the EDG750 PSU #2edgyforme
  9. I can wish hahahahaha maybe next year.
  10. Would a 970 do the job? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130790
  11. Would you recommend me a good replacement for around 100$. It throttles even when not overclocked. I had to update the bios just to get it stable. I'm looking to get it at least at 4.4ghz.
  12. I tried setting it on auto and at 1.25v and it still throttled. My guess is that the motherboard is crap.
  13. Temps on prime95 skyrocket to everything 100c+. But someone told me that I shouldn't trust AMD temp sensors. When playing games it goes up to 60-70c
  14. http://imgur.com/tVo9rgK,50M9jF2#1 Here are the system specs, the CPU is under load because I was benchmarking it. It isn't usually on those temps, it goes up to 60 Celsius when playing games. It has a zalman idon'trememberthename 20$ after market cooler. It's way bigger than the stock.
