Go to solution Solved by ces160,

cpu and both gpu are overclocked?

how much wats do u use out of the 850?

Not sure how much watts I'm pulling (I don't have a device to measure it).

CPU is overclocked to 4.7 @ 1.3v.

GPUs are overclocked +25mV +140mHz on the clock (max clock speed is a little of 1200mHz)

Also running, 2HDD, 3SSD, STX Sound card, water cooling pump and 5 fans.

Never had any issues with power.

hey, first of all sorry about my english.
i tried to read the pinned topic but it made me more confused =\

im building a pc with this specs:

i7 4790K (meduim overclock)
gigabyte z97X- gaming 3
corsair h100i
2(SLI) X gigabyte gtx 970 g1 gaming edition (high overclock)

g.skill ripjaws  2X8 1866 cl9

i dont know what psu should i take, every source tells me diffrent things,

in the pinned topic i saw its like... 900W?

in the shop they told me 750W would be enough

and in a quick google search i saw its more like 850.

the psu its all i need to complete my pc :)

thanks a lot and sorry again ! :)

when I built my 7970 + 2500 K build, I went with a OCZ ZX 850 watt PSU and that was probably overkill. Something around the 750 range would suffice in all likelihood.

i5 2500k+Noctua NH-D14 - 8GB HyperX Blu - 240GB PNY XLR8 - Sapphire Reference 7970 - P8Z68-V Pro/Gen 3 - OCZ ZX 850W

recommand say 800watt+

honestly it only draw 280watt with i7-3960x in stresstest

add another one would still be under 500 in most cases,

if i were u i'll always pick the  biggest one i can cuz i don't care :D

lol i wish i could pick the biggest one , im on a budget...

itll be a problem with 750W?

i cant find here (israel) a 800W psu, its 750\850

I'm running 2 680s and 2600k on an AX850. 750w is totally fine for your rig.
